 Abstract:  The Trescott Post No. 10 of the Grand Army of the Republic was founded in 1866 in Salem, Ohio, as a local branch of a national association for veterans of the American Civil War. Trescott Post was numbered 84 at its origin but, in 1869, was renumbered as No. 10. The collection consists of minutes of meetings. Includes an 11-page "History of Trescott Post No. 10, Dept. of Ohio, G.A.R.," by J.S. Clemmer, April 6, 1891.

Herrick, George C. Mapes, and Alonzo Waters.
